Jordana Daumec, Second Soloist
Biography
Jordana Daumec was born in New York City. She trained at Studio Maestro in New York and Canada’s National Ballet School and joined the company as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2004.
Ms. Daumec danced in the world premieres of James Kudelka’s An Italian Straw Hat and Cinderella and Crystal Pite’s Emergence. She also performed in the recent company premieres of John Neumeier’s The Seagull, Dominique Dumais’ Skin Divers and Davide Bombana’s Carmen.
Ms. Daumec danced the supporting role of Rosalia in the company premiere of Jerome Robbins’ West Side Story Suite, a Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, a Bee and a Sheep in The Nutcracker, a featured role in Theme and Variations and roles in George Balanchine’s Jewels, Symphony in C and The Four Temperaments. Her repertoire also includes Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, La Sylphide, The Contract (The Pied Piper), The Firebird, Madame Butterfly, Les Sylphides, Elite Syncopations, The Four Seasons, Wolf’s Court, Voluntaries, A Delicate Battle, Etudes, Giselle, The Taming of the Shrew, the second detail and Song of the Earth.
